The second instalment of Provisions artisan market lands on 11th August!
With such a great reception to the inaugural event, the next market will feature even more artisans showcasing everything from staple items like seasonal produce, sourdough bread, cheese, tea and olive oil – to more indulgent treats like nut butter, mushroom pate, baklava and cake! Not to mention a curated selection of gifts and homeware such as candles, indoor plants and organic skincare.
Provisions aims to champion local, independent traders, producers, farmers and makers, presenting the best of what our area has to offer and making it accessible to residents and visitors alike.
In addition to the market, we’ll also be hosting a ‘Grow your own herbs’ pop-up with Hackney Herbal, a social enterprise promoting wellbeing and mental health in the community through workshops and events about the extensive use of herbs.
The Hackney Herbal team will be on-hand throughout Provisions running demos, sharing top tips for growing herbs in urban spaces and teaching simple methods and recipes for drying and processing your herbs to use in a number of creative ways. Drop by the stall and put your green thumb to work!
Provisions will take place at Courage Yard on 11th August, 10am-4pm.
