The Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) is a London-based charity that provides free osteopathic treatment to families in need. Experienced osteopaths use gentle, hands-on techniques to support babies and children, up to the age of 18, as they grow.

Co-founder and Director of Osteopathy at the OCC Stuart Korth tells us why donating this Christmas is so important:

“Since 1991, we’ve been providing specialist care to babies and children with developmental issues or healthcare concerns. For families who would not ordinarily be able to afford treatment, the Osteopathic Centre for Children is a lifeline.

Our charity is busy all-year round, so we urgently appeal for donations at Christmas to help us prepare for the future. Every contribution, no matter how large or small, helps towards supporting children who may otherwise go without.”

How your Support can Make a Difference

As a registered charity, the Osteopathic Centre for Children depends entirely on donations to make its care accessible to families from all walks of life. A one-hour treatment costs the charity £90. Families are asked to make a donation at the clinic if they are able, but last year, 9% of families could not contribute towards the cost.

Your donation ensures that more families can benefit from the OCC’s compassionate approach to osteopathic care. To make a difference today, please consider donating to the Osteopathic Centre for Children and helping more children thrive.

Our upcoming fundraising event, Carols at Courage Yard, is free to attend. The Southwark Chamber Choir will be performing a range of festive carols, while Osteopaths from the OCC will be there to talk about their vital work. Don’t miss the performance on Thursday 4th December at 7pm.
