Borders of Shad Thames: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

STAMP: Saturday 8th June, 10.30-12.30

Join us for the London Festival of Architecture 2019 to explore its theme of boundaries in relation to Shad Thames.

We begin at The Dixon with complimentary refreshments and an introduction to the area, and hear about converting this former Magistrates Court and Police Station into a leading-edge hotel. We then head off on foot, stopping at Tower Bridge Court (TBC) to learn about the upcoming refurbishment of this office building. Our walk continues looking at private and public spaces along the backstreets and waterside, ending with a visit to Anise Gallery to see their LFA photography exhibition Every Building on the Old Kent Road 2019.

Meet at The Dixon Hotel, 211 Tooley Street, London SE1 2JX
